The Concrete Finishing Sequence: Understanding the Order

Every concrete finish follows the same basic sequence. The steps you include depend on the final finish you want, but the order never changes:

10 Concrete Finishing Mistakes That Ruin Slabs

  1. Finishing over bleed water. The #1 mistake. If you see a sheen of water on the surface, stop. Wait. There is no shortcut and no workaround.
